*This review may be biased by how much I love all Cheddars restaurants* This Cheddars is staffed by some of the friendliest hosts, servers, and bartenders I've seen at any restaurant in quite some time. Additionally, if you're familiar with Cheddars then you know you won't pay much for a plate full of food! I never leave without a to go box, and I have a pretty healthy appetite. In summary, this place is awesome: great service, great food, great prices. P.S. This review may also be biased by the fact the restaurant biz got me through high school and early college, so I don't whine and complain about a piece of lettuce looking funny or a missing ice cube.

They have improved Our waitress was amazing tonight. She always made sure our drinks were full in a timely manner and stayed in a excellent mood. When we asked questions about the menu she was able to answer them without stumbling over the question or go check. The food was excellent as well. Their salads come with a croissant with honey butter on them. Which was amazing! And the onion rings mmmmm. I really liked cheddar club they had and the mac n cheese was very delicious. Another side I reccoment is the broccoli cheddar caserole. I can't wait to go back now!

Big disappointment again! I can understand A mistake here and there, but the last two times I went with my husband it was horrible! This time when I ordered the New Orleans pasta, it was just warm and there was no sausage in it. When I pointed that out to the server she told me the sausage looks like the chicken... no it does not, and she made me pull apart pieces to prove to her that it was chicken and not sausage. She brought out a bowl of "sausage", which was really just two pieces of sausage on top of a whole lot of chicken. The server also messed up both our drinks, and when my mango tea was brought out it was not stirred at all, the syrup sat at the bottom. The time before that when we went it was not even busy but still took 40 minutes to get our food, and we had to remind them twice about our drinks. Our appetizer was brought out after our food and we were completely disgusted when they poured tea into their large tea container and put a nasty cardboard box on top of it that was sitting on the floor. We talk to a manager and she wanted to try and argue that there was a lid but quickly realized she was wrong! This place used to have good food, now it's slow service, half warm food, and a health hazard! We will not be back again!

Onion rings, steak & ribs. Now for starters, the onion rings were good but flaky & they fall apart pretty fast. The steak was juicy & done correctly to my specifications so I was definitely happy in the steak department. The ribs were decent. Our server was Steven & he was awesome. This will not be my only trip to Cheddar's. Their menu is simple but you have options. Lots of options. They seem to have a good amount of people coming in to dine so they must be doing something right. The sweet tea could have been sweeter but there's sugar on the table so nothing to be a brat about. Overall a pretty good experience but I hate that parking lot. Makes me want to invest in a sedan.

Ordered a steak it had zero flavor, waitress was pleasant but when I said steak had no flavor she offered me steak sauce...um..i can put steak sauce on cardboard and it will taste the same.

Bad food and bad service and all around just not worth a penny Table of 4..we were sat after waiting for 10 mins, no big deal. But the place didn't seem that busy, ordered our drinks and apps and dinner.. She brought 3 drinks and forgot mine.. Then after 15 mins she brought the entrees? I asked asked her we haven't gotten the drink or the app? She said she will check on that. We didn't event got our silverware? While we all waited for that to eat our food, the food was coooold; server brought the apps and it was coooold. We didnt want to send it back but it was not edible we ordered spinach dip tasted like can spinach and old tortila chips, the cheese fries was bland and had no flavor. I will never go back. I

We had a pleasant lunch here. We started out with the chips and queso appetizer. The chips were crisp and fresh. The salsa had a "watered down" consistency and flavor to it. The queso was pretty delicious though and had a nice serving of taco beef. We both enjoyed our sandwiches. My mother had the burger which she said was great. I had the philly cheesesteak which absolutely tasty. The portions were very generous. The major complaint here was that both our fry sides were overcooked (had a slight bitter flavor) and cold which meant that they sat out for a while. Other than that, the service was prompt and friendly. They have a generous amount of both seating and staff to assure quick ticket times. We left feeling full and satisfied.

This was our first visit to Cheddar's. There was quite a crowd, but that's to be expected on a Friday night. Our waitress, Tonee, was outstanding! The food was great and came quickly despite the crowd. My family and I are likely to eat here again in the future. The kids Mac and cheese is pretty good and made from scratch rather than from a box, that's a nice bonus.

We went here with a party of twelve and had a great meal with wonderful service. Our server, Brandon was great with all of us and was present when he needed to be but not hovering. He had us laughing and enjoying our meal. The portions were great and the chicken fried steak was the largest I'd ever seen. You rally can't beat that, a side of potatoes, corn, and Texas toast for $8. Good service, great food, and a clean, relaxed, environment made this place one I will return to and recommend again.

We decided last minute to change restaurants and go to Cheddars. It has always been wonderful until tonight! Our server walked past our table several times before greeting us and getting our drink order. It was at least 10 minutes before he stopped at the table. He brings our drinks and didn't know which drink went where! Our appetizer comes and the "free" beef in the queso looked and tasted like leftover taco meat! I ordered a Philly cheesesteak sandwich with a side salad. My sandwich arrives and we have to ask about my salad. He said it comes out of a different window that he would go get it. He returns with drinks (2 unsweetened teas and we ordered a sweet tea and a dr pepper)! The table next to us had a salad on the same rectangle plate as my sandwich with their entree.....but my salad never arrived. He started getting an attitude when we asked again about the salad and he asked if we just wanted him to take it off the bill! My sandwich was horrible! The mushrooms were whole, it had sliced cheese melted and the hot dog bun was hard! My husband ordered the chicken fried steak and there was so much batter that you could barely find the meat! Our waiter never once asked how the food was and if we needed anything. He also told us that he would bring more chips for our appetizer and those chips never arrived. I have waited tables and currently work in the service industry and we always tip a minimum of 20%. Tonight we didn't leave a tip and we have NEVER done that. The new menu is not good and this experience will never bring us back!

I have tried to visit this location twice in 2 months. I have yet to place a drink or food order either visit. A complaint was filed with a "manager" the first visit and I saw that it had no effect as my second visit was even worse. Their is hospitality and their is basic "service." Do NOT expect either at this location. The hostess(s) depending on how many there are hanging around the podium refuse to greet you and avoid eye contact when you try to engage them. Both times my server acknowledged my presence AFTER I asked for a manager. Overall, will not return to this or any other Cheddar's location based on the experience.

APPALLING SERVICE . 2 of 3 visits experienced were with snobby hostesses. There is a an obvious racial preference when it comes to seating and service quality. Observe for yourself. Ordered Burgers and Onion Rings all three visits. Inconsistent service, each time. Each visit was mind bogglingly Slow, nasty tap water. Server was a ghost. Each time we have to hunt down a server or manager for the simplest things, napkins, hot sauce, to-go box. Hostesses were college-age girls who all seemed to have a chip on their shoulder. Manager was found only once of our three visits, which there in lies the problem; people tend to hire people like themselves. We just cut our losses and will never return.

We came here with family while visiting Texas. I ordered the chicken strips with grilled Shrimp, green beans and Mac and cheese! Everything tasted good. My husband got the chicken fried steak which mashed potatoes and green beans! The chicken fried steak was delicious! The rest of the family enjoyed their meals as well! Nice place to take the family.

The restaurant was very nice and well kept. I got fried cheese for the appetizer, a half rack of ribs with steamed broccoli and fries, and for desert a monster cookie. First off the fried cheese was probably the best I've ever had, and that is saying something because if a restaurant offers them, I will order them. The ribs were delicious, tender and fall off the bone good. Steamed broccoli was a little soggy but good nonetheless, and the fries were decent but nothing to write home about. I shared the monster cookie with two of my buds, it's eatable on your lonesome- but much better with company, it was large, perfectly cooked and topped off with ice cream! The only reason I gave this review 3 stars was for the waiter and waiting time. maybe it was just because I was there during lunch, but the waiter seemed incompetent and kept telling us it would only be 1 or 2 more minutes until our food was out... It ended up taking roughly 30 minutes for food and 15 for the cookie. Great food, meh waiter.

The service is alright. Nothing too much to complain about. Kinda awkward. The general facility is dimmed and cozy. The food reminds me of an episode of Pokemon. The one where there are two chef pokemon that cook food. One makes food look beautiful but taste like crap. The other pokemon makes food look displeasing to the eye but taste pretty good. Cheddars is that other Pokemon. Basically plate presentation could be better. Overall I give cheddars 3/5 stars

Came here on short notice to get the fam dinner on takeout. Got slotted in the bar and the service was on point. Glass was never empty And food was right, fast, and we'll definitely be headed there for a little family dinner out.

Went here one night while visiting my sister. My other siblings went here last time they visited her and said they loved it. I thought it was just okay. We got some of the queso with beef to start and for my entree had I the cornmeal fried catfish, with the baby carrots and a sweet potato casserole, the last of which was a recommendation of the waitress since it's not on their regular menu. The food was good, with the only standout being the sweet potato casserole. My sister had the chicken fried steak and my brother-in-law has the chicken fried chicken, both of which I had a bite of. the chicken was okay, but I would never order the chicken friend steak. I don't know how they prepared it, but it was still very tough and not that flavorful Service though was very good and the portions were more than adequate. I got a lunch portion for my entree and was surprised with the amount of food that came out.

Seating: I do not understand why you would seat a party of six with a toddler and an infant in the bar area. Service: The service was slow. We waited for over 30 minutes and I only ordered a salad. Our waitress never came by to refill our drinks after giving us our entrees. It was hard to track down our waitress at times. Food: The food was good. I enjoyed my BBQ Chicken Salad and the croissants melted in your mouth. My husband ordered the Jalapeño burger and I took a bite. It was definitely tasty. Price: All of the entrees were decently priced. My salad was $10 but it was such a big salad that my husband had to share with me. Overall, the food was good but the service was horrible. I don't think the food is that good that I'd want to come back if the service is still the same.

We have never been to Cheddars before but.heard it was good. As we walked in, we were greeted by the hostess. She neat in appearance and friendly. She sested us and informed us that the server would be there soon. Our hostess could have taken a little more time to place our menus and cutlery neatly. She just kind of tossed in the middle of table... Our server was very nice and attentive. She suggested a flavored lemonade or tea, which we took her up on. I really enjoyed our lunch and will definitely be back. We tried the santa fe spinach dip We had the chicken pasta salad and the asian chicken salad Mango iced tea

Horrible service! On my first visit, we waited 20 min for a server to help us at our table after we were seated. We ordered a bottle of wine, she brought it to our table, set it down and asked us if we needed glasses?!?! After telling her that we did, in fact, need glasses, she brought us iced tea glasses for our wine. I had to ask for wine glasses. During my second visit, I went alone, and sat at the bar. The bartender did not know how to make a Manhattan when ordered, so I changed my drink, still horrible. I ordered food, and it was served with no silverware... Same situation for the woman sitting beside me. Also, a woman had waited at the bar for a drink and was ignored for 10 minutes. Neither visit was during a busy time period and there was plenty of staff around on both occasions.

Called to make a pick order and was on hold so long that I didn't have time to make my order and pick it up. I figured 30 mins for chips and queso would be more than enough time to order and pick up.... Guess not. Super upsetting and I'm still hungry, boo.

Oh my my my. Lemon pepper grilled catfish is terrific. I will be coming here regularly!! The server, Claudia, was beautiful, attentive & professional. I like the ziosk to pay your bill at the table too. I didn't like $1.49 to play the games though.

I don't know what happen I'm very disappointed in my order this time. The chicken is normally full and a Ron of it today it's small dried out and not much.

  • Brad C.

The food is decent and the service is friendly, but the wait is infuriating. No matter what I have ordered and no matter what time frame they say it will be ready in, I have never gotten my pick up order in less than 30 minutes after calling it in. A good place to get something to eat if you have time to kill and a lot of patience.

Zero stars. They never give me exactly what I order. If I order a meat free dish, that means meat is NOT supposed to be in it. Horrible!

This is the worst Cheddar's location I've been to. Service is slow and my frozen drink came out melted. When I asked for it to be remade the response was "this is as good as its gonna get". The booth was dirty with used napkins when we arrived at our table. The waiter just kicked what he saw to the side instead of having someone properly clean the area. Not impressed.

I'm going to give it a half. My boyfriends pasta was delicious. But my baked spasagna wasn't good at all. It was over cooked, and looked and tasted like it was rubber. It's like a bundle of nasty noodles then they put sauce on it. Every other meal I have liked. I would highly recommended their spinach dip. But stay away from that one dish..

Cheddars is awesome. I don't normally enjoy going to chain restaurants but cheddars is always slammed which shows that it's good IMHO. I have almost always received fantastic service. Most of the time I am not even finished with whatever I'm drinking and have one brought to keep me going. I have tried a few things on the menu but I almost always go back to the 8oz top sirloin and loaded baked potato and broccoli casserole. It's always great and very filling. If your into appetizers then I recommend the onion rings. They are very good for someone that doesn't like onion rings

I really enjoyed our lunch here! We decided to stop by before getting some errands done and I am glad we did. It was a Monday around 2PM. We were sorted quickly and our waiter arrived to take out drink menus. I mentioned I had never been to a Cheddar's before and he gave me the lowdown on what makes a Cheddar's....well, Cheddar's! I liked that he was involved and didn't seem to just want to get our order and be done with us. He saw me eyeing the drink menu and asked if I wanted one, I said I was just browsing it to see what they had. I thought it was thoughtful that he asked if I was going to be having a drink or not. Most places will not think twice to ask. To start, we had the sampler appetizer. The nachos are mandatory and you can choose two others to accompany them. My guy went with the chicken tenders and the cheese bites. Both so good! The chicken tenders are huge but delicious. The cheese bites were amazing. I could have sat that and just ate the appetizer had I known they were so good. The nachos were tasty as well. They came topped with ground beef, cheese, a little chopped tomato, a few jalapeños (I'll ask for extra next time) and a side of sour cream. For our main course we both ordered burgers. He had the smokehouse burger but omitted the tomatoes and onion straws (he's so picky). I had the jalapeño burger. I didn't try his but he seemed to really enjoy it. Mine was delicious! The burger was a perfect juicy consistency. And the flavor was great. The fried jalapeños on top with the chipotle mayo was amazing. I could have used even more jalapeños (not fried) on top of the rest for even more spice! But the spiciness it had was perfect and not too much to overpower the taste of the burger. I recommend Cheddar's over the other fast food chains like Applebee's, chilis or Fridays. Cheddar's has great food and great prices. I look forward to coming back. We had no issues with our waiter or any other staff member. Everyone was friendly and great. I will not hesitate to come back to this location!

I like the chicken tortilla soup and the cake. My husband loves going here, but we have stopped coming as often because the service is AWFUL. We have witnessed verbal fights between the servers, one time the manager was told of this went back to the kitchen and try to get the staff under control and came back out to us and told us she is sorry but she does not know what to do. If the service would improve we will be back more often.

We aren't hard to please. Put us at a table, bring us drinks, food and check in once or twice, bring our tab promptly, and we're good. I'm not sure why this has become a foreign concept these days. Case in point: my husband and I went to Cheddar's for a quick meal before a movie this afternoon around 2:45. We got seated pretty quickly and decided on our meals. We watched 20 employees pass us by, most more than once. It's not like we were tucked away in the corner, we were in the booth everyone walked past! It was busy, but not packed. Just as we decided to leave and go elsewhere, the hostess who had seated us walked by and I asked her if we could get someone to serve us. A waitress who had been clearing the table next to us chatting with another employee took our order. We ordered drinks, appetizer and our meals, since we had been waiting long enough to decide on all of the above. I had the strawberry lemonade and I was unimpressed. My steak was a little more rare than medium rare, but my husband's grown up grilled cheese was good. So overall, the food was pretty good, but we never had a single person apologize, or offer something to make our experience better. We won't be going back anytime soon.

I like Cheddar's, it's decent. But my favorite thing here is the croissants with that honey butter! I've always had good service here, so not much to complain about on this department. Food was always decent to great. Nothing special though!

Every time I come here, the waitress is always fantastic! I have never gotten a rude server. They are always helpful & really know what's good on the menu. One of my favorite places to eat in Killeen, hands down!

    (5)
  • Josh L.

Good food as all Cheddars usually have. This one in Killeen was good as well, had an issue with my nachos(picture in the photo area). They didn't charge me for the meal, they did offer to make me a new plate, but I politely declined, all I was charged for was my beer with out tax. This Cheddars has an extremely nice atmosphere, I'm not letting this one mishap keep me from becoming a repeat visitor. 4 stats because they only had 3 beers on draft.

  • Lily S.

The food was pretty good here, but the service by the waiter I had was terrible. Let me share with you why... the guy talked about his life story with him and his girlfriend most of the time there. How they were saving up for something and both working there, blah blah. Then when it was time to pay and leave, the waiter took our receipt to check us out and took 20 minutes to do so. You might read this and think, that's okay because maybe there is a good reason. Okay, okay I will clear that thought for you-there was no good reason for that 20 minutes delay. He checked us out at a pretty close cash register, then went to sit down at a booth three tables away. Just to chat it up with some more customers about his life story. So..yeah.

This place is great! My first time going and I was quite pleased. Dinner for two with drinks and dessert, under $30 and did I mention it was good! Do yourself a favor and visit ASAP.

The food was fabulous. I had the Parmesan Steak. It was incredible! Grilled to perfection and flavored perfectly. The prices were also great. Everything is quite affordable. The service was adequate, otherwise I'd give this joint 5 stars. The parking lot is always packed.... A strong indication of the fantastic food and great prices.

For a chain resturant, it's got some good stuff. I've been a big fan of their chicken pot-pie and a friend recently introduced me to chicken and waffles. This location has some really good wait staff as well.

Party of 7, two right "off the boat" from Korea. This place made America look bad. Wrong order brought out three times. The first wrong order easily took 45 min to receive. But I must say that after telling management about our service we were Compt for our meals. Thats probably the only reason I gave them a star. Anyways, the food wasn't what I would have expected considering the ambiance. Floors and tables were some what clean. Maybe they were busy IDK. Doesn't matter though. I will not be returning.

Went here with family, while visiting in Killeen. I expected it to be crowded, but dang and the wait...double dang!! 20-30 minute wait to be seated...not bad, for the Sunday after church crowd. Order drinks after the waitress arrive which was pretty quick...now the wait begins.....Tick Tock....Tick Tock,,,,Tick Tock...ok, almost 45minutes later food arrives and let's hope it was well worth the wait!!....Good Job Cheddar's, food was good and the service from the waitress was even better...very pleasant young lady...she continued to check on us, because she knew the wait was gonna be long....we had no idea....lol

First time I have ever been here and I will definitely be back!! Pretty inexpensive, $30 for 2 adults, 1 child, 2 sodas, and 2 appetizers. Food was really good, the onion rings were good. Really crunchy breading and not too oily. The lemon pepper chicken was alright, it could have used a little more seasoning. The chicken fingers were good and really big. The carrots as a side dish were great, some kind of sweet seasoning on them. The child's grilled cheese wasn't very good though: my son that eats everything wouldn't eat it. Also it was extremely cold in the restaurant. My son and I were shivering. They shouldn't put the a/c vents so close to the tables!!

After requesting the Blackened Pork Tenderloin with the Mango Sauce on the side. I received my order with Mango Sauce slathered all over it. The waiter stated, "if you would like it resolved it will take 20 minutes for a brand new order". I decided after the 45 minute initial wait to get a table it wasn't worth my time. After I state the issue to my waitress, she promptly brings the manager over to combat the situation! The manger stated no problem we will take it in the back to power wash my tenderloin off and grill it! Awesome solution and sounds like the flavor would be more amazing! Right? Nope I decided the best option was to send it back without that solution. The manager didn't offer to comp me for another item instead decides to up sell me with another fabulous entree! HAHA No Thanks! Sadly, the manager leaves with a big fail! Disappointed she decides to come back with it washed off and boxed up to make amends. I guess our family dog can eat it now. This place really sucks at customer service! I still believe I was part of a Saturday Night Live skit! Stay away! See the photo I placed of my washed off boxed tenderloin!

This is one of the few restaurants in Killeen that I regularly eat at. The experience has been consistent with every visit: great tasting and well prepared food, excellent wait staff and a great atmosphere. I have never waited long to give our order and receive our food. I cannot think of anything negative to say about this place.

I love sitting at the bar in restaurants, especially chains. It's an opportunity to see, hear, and be entertained. Service, started out slacking, but then another person began to serve and it got better. What's up with someone who is behind a bar and does not understand when one requests a margarita served "up"? No, that does not mean frozen OR on the rocks....what a way to start a tired evening meal off badly! My mood improved when I learned their great lunch combo can be had at anytime of he day. Things slid back a bit when the soup was served with the tortilla chips in, not on the side as requested, which was easily remedied, but when I realized the soup was barely room temp, I decided to not tempt fate, and did not send it back again...so in essence the lunch combo was not a great deal after all. I'll give it another go, a different day.

For a chain restaurant, Cheddar's is definitely one of the best. The prices are just amazing on both food and drinks. I expected lower quality food and got fresh, pretty high quality food. I have eaten here many times and I don't think I have had one bad meal. The bourbon glazed salmon and the Hawaiian chicken salad are two of my favorites as well as the shaker margarita. It is always super busy and I have sat down at a high top in the bar section and waited quite a while for even a menu a few times. Going on the weekends at dinner time isn't a good idea, lines out the door!

Very decently priced appetizers, entrees, drinks, and desserts. Their chicken tenders are delicious, best i've ever had. The ribs are good, a little too much sauce on it for me but the meat was nice, tender, and moist. I love the ambiance in there and service was good.

Yummy! I loved my buffalo chicken wraps! My kids like their corn dog and grilled cheese sandwhich. The fired chicken salad was big but mostly lettuce after the chicken was eaten off, just okay. Service was top notch and our drinks and water were never empty, nice place.

I love this place! Everything on the menu is crazy cheap and everything I've tried is super delicious! My favorite thing is the pork tenderloin - Pork Tenderloin - 8.79 Blackened pork tenderloin with mango-sweet chile glaze. Served with mashed potatoes and a choice of two sides. It's so good! I don't really recommend the ribs, though, they were tender but they didn't taste very good.

One of the best restaurants I've been at while on travel. My business partner and I could eat there EVERY DAY while we were in town for 6 weeks. It is that delicious, inexpensive, awesome customer service and super delicious FOOD, I've tried many items on their menu and I was 150% satisfied with each one of them.... LOVE THEM!

We always receive great service here. The Hawaiian chicken salad is delicious & the prices are extremely reasonable. No complaints!

This is one of my favorite places in town. I love the atmosphere with the dark woods and lots of green plants everywhere. The food is usually always good. We went once and had a problem with a frozen avocado, but the manager was happy to replace the sandwich. You should definitely try out one of the fruit teas. The Mango is my favorite.

Location is nice. Atmosphere is good. Great for groups and bar. I had the hawaiian salad and liked it so much that I started getting it about once a week for about a month. I've never had a salad that provided a mild sweet flavor with chicken and pineapples. Adding the croissant tops off this refreshing salad nicely.

This place is always busy but it's worth the wait! The restaurant is extremely clean, friendly and attentive service, to top it off cheap but quality food and drinks! It's hard to recommend just one item because everything we have tried from soups, salads, appetizers, entrees, and desserts have been perfect.

So the food isn't that bad due to their low prices. They just added BBQ to their menu & it's not half bad. I loved their pulled pork sliders. If you want to get wasted on a budget, this is definitely the place. The last couple times, I was only there to take advantage of their 3.99 margaritas. What can I say, I love cheap margaritas. :)

I had the baby back ribs and shrimp. The ribs were a little too overcooked but the shrimp was great. The buttery croissants are awesome! Luckily we missed the rush hour because this place gets packed. Overall, I'm sure I'll be back again to try something new on the menu.

This place started out promising when you see the decore, but hideously slow service, an understaffed bar and mediocre entrees strongly suggest you spend your money elsewhere.

The food here is spectacular when it's hot. The wait time is an average of 25-30 minutes, which is normal for this military town. The service staff, is the only thing I have a problem with here. The waitresses on many occasions are very slow, often get order wrong, and don't seem to care much when they do get something wrong.

This location is what we have come to expect from Cheddar's restaurants: great food, very reasonable prices, and good service.

The food is what you'd expect from a standard "casual dining" restaurant, but what keeps bringing us back is the great wait staff!

Delightfully tasty and fresh. I am new to the area and my husband and I really enjoyed our meal here. Finally, a restaurant we will come back to in Harker Heights!

My favorite item is the pecan salad. I know, I know, its a salad...how good can it be...I'm not really a "salad" lady, but its so amazing. They have a pretty average menu, burgers, steaks, seafood, etc. The onion rings are to die for and the chocolate cake is totally worth the calories. Definately a deal for the price of the food.

This is only my fourth time at Cheddars since they don't have it in the Northwest where I'm from. My first 3times was in Ga, and now I'm visiting it here in Texas....I thought it was pretty awesome when i walked in....This cheddars was very nicely decorated and very dimly lit which i liked. The booth we sat in was huge and very comfortable. Our waitor was very nice and patient with me. I was only disappointed because of the fact that i am a vegan, and even vegetarian options were hard to find. But after a little tweaking i was able to find me somethings to eat, and the patience the waiter had with me definitely made up for the lack of vegan/veggie options. All in all id say it was pretty good. had to be because i tipped the waitor $11.75 on a $50.25 bill

I took my wife out for an afternoon date today. We went to Barnes and Noble to purchase some books and magazines and then we decided to try out one of the new restaurants located near the book store. It was convenient to have Cheddar's in the same parking lot, so we walked across the lot to the establishment. The greeter was pleasant and the ambiance was good too. We arrived around 11:50 AM. and were quickly seated at a booth in the bar area. The service was quick to take our order, but that was about it. The meal was fine, I ordered the Louisiana pasta and my wife had the Chicken Fried stake. One thing I noticed was the greasy flavor in the shrimp and the thick batter on my wife's steak. The food was decent, but nothing to rave about. The waitress was a bit slow too. I was never offered a refill on my drink when I had emptied the glass and hadn't finished my meal. The waitress never checked on us until someone was seated in the booth next to us. It was then she asked us if everything was alright ( she never did offer to refill my glass). I would have thought the staff was busy due to the lunch rush, but there were a few servers/waitresses standing around at the other end of the bar laughing and joking. The noise in the place was bad too. I almost had to yell at my wife to carry on a conversation. Overall, I think the new place has to work out a few bugs to get more than three stars from me. The prices were alright, but I think I could have gone to Chili's and received better service for the same type of food and price. Our lunch for two came out to be just under $20.00 and we still gave a generous tip (more than 15%). My advice is to try one of the other restaurants within the same walking distance before you try this one.

Seriously this place is so cheap & good. Always has great service! You truly can't beat the insanely low prices! It is by far the best restaurant in the Killeen area hands-down! Enough said! My personal favorite entree is the Buffalo Chicken Wrap! It is enough food for 3 meals!

Just a typical chain restaurant. Maybe a little classy for the Killeen/Heights area, and ok priced, but nothing to brag about and will not visit again. Cee might though, but ehh I've had better.
